DAY 1: MY THO & BEN TRE (01 DAY) [L]
08:00 AM – Your tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Depart for My Tho via Vietnam’s first expressway in the south. Enjoy scenic views of lush rice paddies, fruit orchards, and quiet villages along the way.
Stop to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, a beautiful fusion of Asian and European architecture dating back to the 19th century.
Arrive in My Tho, board a local motorboat to cruise the legendary Mekong River – the lifeblood of Southeast Asia. Refresh with fresh coconut juice while admiring riverside landscapes.
Visit Unicorn Island, where you’ll sample pure honey, royal jelly, and pollen at a local bee farm.
Continue by boat to Ben Tre, known as the land of coconuts. Discover how locals craft handmade coconut candy, and stroll through the village.
Hop on a Tuk Tuk or horse-drawn cart for a fun ride around the peaceful countryside. Stop at a fruit garden, where you’ll taste seasonal tropical fruits such as pineapple, watermelon, longan, and bananas, while enjoying a live performance of “Đờn ca tài tử” – traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music.
