DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN SAIGON [D]
Pick up at the airport, transfer to hotel, free time, have dinner cruise on Saigon river.
Night in Saigon.
DAY 2: CU CHI – MY THO [B/L]
Depart from your hotel and travel to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a historic underground network used during the Vietnam War, located near Ho Chi Minh City. After the visit, continue the journey to My Tho, approximately 75 km away—a 1.5-hour drive via the South’s first freeway. This scenic drive offers a unique glimpse into the Mekong Delta’s beauty, with views of rice paddies, fruit orchards, and charming rural villages.
Upon arrival in My Tho, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before boarding a motorboat to cruise along the Mekong River—Asia’s longest river, stretching over 4,800 km across six countries. Savor fresh coconut water as you journey toward Unicorn Island, where you'll sample local specialties like pure honey, bee pollen, and royal jelly. Your next stop is Ben Tre, renowned for its traditional coconut candy-making—an iconic product of the province.
Stroll through a peaceful village and hop on a local "xe lam" (a small motorized vehicle) for a 1.5 km ride to a tropical fruit garden. There, you’ll enjoy seasonal fruits such as pineapple, watermelon, longan, and royal bananas while listening to traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music, known as "Cai Luong."
Next, take a hand-rowed sampan through narrow canals shaded by lush water coconut palms, offering a glimpse into the serene daily life of the local community. After the boat trip, return to the harbor and transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City for an overnight stay.
DAY 3: SAIGON - VUNG TAU TOUR - SAIGON [B/L]
Depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 7:30 AM for a scenic drive to the coastal city of Vung Tau. Upon arrival around 9:30 AM, begin your visit with the iconic Statue of Jesus Christ. Standing 32 meters (105 feet) tall with arms stretching over 18.4 meters wide, this is one of the tallest statues of Jesus in Asia. Adventurous visitors can ascend the 847 steps to reach the top and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Vung Tau and the East Sea from within the statue's outstretched arms. Construction of this impressive monument began in 1972 and was completed in 1993.
At around 11:30 AM, gather at the base of the mountain and proceed to a local restaurant to enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch. Afterward, continue to Nghinh Phong Cape, which translates to "Cape of Welcoming Breeze." This rocky headland offers sweeping, unobstructed views of Vung Tau City and the East Sea.
Next, enjoy leisure time at Thuy Van Beach (also known as Back Beach), one of Vietnam’s most beautiful stretches of coastline, known for its 10-kilometer sandy shore and gentle rolling waves.
Around 4:00 PM, return to Ho Chi Minh City, with a brief stop at the Long Thanh Dairy rest area along the way. Overnight stay in Saigon.
DAY 4: CITY TOUR – DEPARTURE [B]
At around 8:00 AM, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to begin the city tour. The first stop is the Notre-Dame Cathedral, an architectural gem built by the French between 1877 and 1883, with most of its materials imported from Marseille. Just a short walk away is the Central Post Office, designed by Gustave Eiffel and constructed between 1886 and 1891—an impressive example of colonial-era architecture.
Next, visit the historic Reunification Palace, originally known as Norodom Palace, constructed in 1868 and inaugurated in 1873. The building was significantly damaged during a bombing in 1963. On April 30, 1975, the palace famously marked the end of the Vietnam War when tanks of the liberation army broke through its gates. It later became the headquarters of the City’s Military Administrative Committee.
After the city tour, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight. End of services.
