Day 2: Siem Reap - Angkor Thom - angkor Wat (B)

This morning, visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century): the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Then, visit Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery.

This afternoon, visit to the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture.
Enjoy wonderful sunset from the top of Bakheng Hill.

Day 3: Siem Reap - Countryside - Ox Cart Ride - Tonle Sap Lake by tuk tuk (B)

After the breakfast, with your Tuk Tuk (02 pax per tuk tuk), we head of out the bustling Siem Reap city.
The journey passes interesting city highlight and some of beautiful rice paddies dotting with palm trees and cattle in the fields. Upon arrival at the village, we will have some fun on the oxcart ride through the village to get interaction along with “Hello” from friendly kids. Disembark the oxcart, enjoy the guided walking tour around local market to see interesting trading vegetables, meat and so on. Continue walking, passing stilt houses and come across vegetable/herb gardens and if you see locals growing vegetables, you are welcomed to jump in and help them. Learn from your tour guide about daily life, culture, custom, superstitions and household works. Resume walking to a family’s house to get refreshed by coconut juice and exotic fruit tasting.

This afternoon, we will continue by our tuk tuk and you will enjoy a boat ride on the Tonle Sap Lake at KAMPONG PHLUK VILLAGE. This is the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South East Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fishermen's "floating village" with floating schools, floating police station, etc. It is same as a big village floating on the lake, and the "village" move from place-to-place following water levels and current.
End of afternoon, travel back with your tuk tuk to your hotel.

Day 4: Siem Reap - Battambang by private car & guide (B)
Breakfast at hotel
After breakfast in the hotel, road to Battambang with your private car and guide.
Arrival at Battambang in the afternoon and then, transfer directly to the hotel for the check-in.
Battambang is the second city of Cambodia with some of the best-preserved architecture which was constructed during the French period. You will watch the local people plant vegetables and fish along the riverbank of Stung Sangker. Discover the city of Battambang, a charming big city where you can watch the elegant houses in the French colonial style along the river.

This afternoon, visit the ancient and khmer typical house at Wat Kor Village.
Then, continue your tour with a ride on a bamboo train. Each bamboo train - known in Khmer as a Nori- consists of a 3-metre-long wooden frame, covered lengthwise with slats made of ultra-light bamboo that rests on two, barbell like bogies, one of which is connected by fan belts to a gasoline engine.
After that, explore Phnom Sampeau, which is a natural rock formation which contains a series of caves. The area was a former stronghold of the Khmer Rouge and some of the caves were used as “killing caves”. Here you will also have opportunity to visit Bat Cave and see thousands of Bats flying around 5pm, leave the cave as dusk falls, a steady stream flying out for around 45minutes along with cool beer.

Day 5: Battambang - Local village tours - Phnom Penh by private car & guide (B)

In the morning, with our tours guide, you will spend your day exploring the beautiful countryside around Battambang by bicycle or tuk tuk to visit with Cambodian families who produce traditional products (such as rice paper, dried bananas, and bamboo sticky rice) made in the same way they have been for generations. You will learn first-hand about everyday life in rural communities which make up over 70% of Cambodia’s population. Learn from local families about how they make traditional products such as rice paper, dried banana, bamboo sticky rice, fish paste and rice wine. Taste and experience the pleasures of these products fresh off the fire. Spend some relaxing time in a traditional Khmer house enjoying seasonal fruits and coconut water. Here you can enjoy a local snack and travel through small villages to the killing fields of Battambang. Learn more about the history of Battambang during the Khmer Rouge years with a visit to Samrong Knong village.

This afternoon, depart from Battambang by road to Phnom Penh. The trip will take around 6-7 hours.
Stop for a small visit of the pottery village at Kampong Chhnang.
At the end of afternoon, arrival at Phnom Penh, then, transferred to the hotel for check-in.

Day 6: Phnom Penh - City Tours (B)
Breakfast at hotel
This morning, visit the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda, located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles.
Then, continue your visit at visit to the National Museum, one of Phnom Penh's true architectural gems. The Museum is instantly recognizable with its warm red terracotta and its gracefully cured roof topped by dozens of guardian nagas. It was designed in Khmer style in 1917 by famed French architect Georges Groslier & Ecole Des Arts Cambodgiens.

This afternoon, visit Wat Phnom is the most significant of all the temples in Phnom Penh. Wat Phnom, a peaceful temple situated on a hill for which the city is named. According to legend, a 14th-century woman named Penh found sacred Buddhist objects in the nearby river and placed them here on the small hill.
After your visit, take a breather at the Russian Market. You'll have time to spend here browsing the maze of alleys and street stalls teeming with all manner of souvenirs, trinkets, fabrics, statuary, and more. Your guide can help you to purchase snacks, such as sticky rice with banana, outside the domed market.
End of this afternoon, enjoy 1 hour sunset cruise on Mekong River.

Day 7: Phnom Penh - Half city tour - departure (B)
Breakfast at hotel
After the breakfast, head out to the Choeung Ek Memorial, where a stupa made up of some 8,000 human skulls marks the site of the infamous Killing Fields. This was the execution ground for the torture victims of TuolSleng and standing in this peaceful setting it's almost unthinkable to imagine that to date nearly 9000 corpses have been exhumed from the area. Then, continue your visit to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21 prison). This prison was a high school, and used as a prison by Pol Pot's security forces and became the largest center for detention and torture during the rule of the Khmer Rouge.

Then, transfer to Phnom Penh Airport for your departure flight.
