DAY 1: HUE – DMZ [L]
6:30 AM: Our guide picks you up at your hotel in Hue and departs for Dong Ha Town. From there, travel along National Route 9 to visit key historical sites from the Vietnam War, including Dakrong Bridge, the Rock Pile, and Khe Sanh Combat Base. Along the way, you'll pass through ethnic minority villages and parts of the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail. Return to Dong Ha for lunch.
In the afternoon, continue along Highway 1 to visit the Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River, which once marked the 17th parallel – the dividing line between North and South Vietnam. The tour also includes stops at Doc Mieu Base and the Vinh Moc Tunnels, an underground village that sheltered local people during intense bombings.
Return to Hue around 6:30 PM. End of tour.
