DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN HO CHI MINH
Welcome to Ho Chi Minh – the vibrant heart of Southern Vietnam! Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by our local guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
DAY 2: CU CHI - CITY TOUR [B/L]
Morning: At 7:30 AM, depart for Cu Chi Tunnels – an incredible underground network stretching over 200km, used by Vietnamese soldiers during the war. Explore secret tunnels, meeting rooms, kitchens, and even try crawling through sections of the tunnels (15m, 30m, 60m, or 100m – depending on your health). End the visit with a taste of khoai mì (cassava) – the staple food of wartime soldiers.
Afternoon: Return to Saigon for lunch. Then begin your city tour with key landmarks:
- Notre Dame Cathedral (built 1877–1883), a classic French architectural gem
- Central Post Office, designed by Gustave Eiffel
- Reunification Palace – once the presidential residence and now a symbol of national reunification
- War Remnants Museum – offering profound insights into Vietnam’s past
Overnight in Saigon.
DAY 3: HO CHI MINH - BEN TRE - CAN THO [B/L]
After breakfast, head to Ben Tre – known as the “land of coconuts” in the Mekong Delta.
Enjoy a scenic boat ride along the Ben Tre River, past bustling riverside markets and coconut barges. Visit traditional brick kilns and local workshops where coconut candy and sleeping mats are handmade. Try tropical fruits, taste coconut candy, and enjoy live local music.
Ride a tuk-tuk through peaceful coconut groves and enjoy lunch at a local garden restaurant. Later, relax on a rowing boat gently cruising through palm-shaded canals.
Return to the pier and transfer to Can Tho – the capital of the Mekong Delta. Overnight in Can Tho.
DAY 4: CAN THO - HO CHI MINH [B/L]
Start your day early with a scenic boat trip to the Cai Rang Floating Market, the largest and most famous market in the Mekong Delta. Watch as local vendors trade directly from boat to boat, offering an array of tropical fruits and other goods in a lively river-based marketplace. After soaking in the vibrant atmosphere, visit a local rice noodle workshop where you’ll see the traditional process of making rice noodles, a staple in Vietnamese cuisine. Once you've experienced the unique culture of the Delta, it’s time to say farewell to Can Tho and journey back to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
DAY 5: HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE - END TRIP [B]
Enjoy free time until your transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
