
Vietnam’s
paintings, photos and fashion to be shown in France
Vietnam Days in France – Vietnam Expo 2005 will be held from
June 15 – 19 in Paris with the participation of painter Nguyen
Thi Tam, photographer Dao Hoa Nu and fashion designer Sy Hoang.
Painter Nguyen Thi Tam will introduce 20 Vietnam’s
traditional silk paintings in 50 x 50cm and 40 x 60cm featuring
the landscape of the country.
Photographer Dao Hoa Nu will bring to the event with 90 large
sized photos depicting the land and people of Vietnam. The
collections include costumes of Vietnamese ethnic minorities,
ancient ao dai and ao dai as evening gowns. In particular,
Hoang will introduce his latest collection of ao dai for children,
including 25 samples selected from 120 disadvantaged children’s
paintings in Ho Chi Minh City.
Other products of Vietnam will also be put on display at the
event.
